New Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Set to Open in Historic New Orlean's Building Previously Home to Crecent City Electric

NEW ORLEANS, LA. September 6, 2016 - The 103-suite Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in downtown New Orleans is scheduled to open later this month with its smart, inventive public space and guest room design, and its bright and inviting decor. Located at 346 Baronne Street, the Fairfield Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown/French Quarter Area will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by New Castle Hotels & Resorts of Shelton, Conn. This is the first Fairfield Inn & Suites in the area to feature the brand's new design and decor, which enhance the guest experience through flexible features, and a warm and welcoming environment.

Located in the Central Business District, in the historic building that originally housed the Crescent City Electric Company in 1910, and just 15 miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, the hotel is within walking distance to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the Morial Convention Center and Harrah's New Orleans Casino as well as the city's famed French Quarter. In the lobby area, guests can choose to be productive, relax or enjoy breakfast or a snack in a modern and flexible environment featuring a vibrant, natural color palette of greens, blues and oranges.
