NEW YORK, NY. June 7, 2016 - Grand Hyatt New York is pleased to announce the debut of their Grand Loft Suite, an innovative new studio-style room type. Designed to emulate a New York City loft-style apartment, these spacious suites cater to the mobile, millennial traveler with an expansive and comfortable living area, a sophisticated design and comfortable bedding.

“We are excited about this new suite type and believe it will attract a new type of clientele,” said John Schafer, General Manager of Grand Hyatt New York. “We were finding that many young travelers here for business or pleasure were seeking more of a residential feel in their accommodations and really valued the space, but wanted something a bit more affordable than a standard suite. This new suite type gives our guests a home-like space with all of the necessary amenities Grand Hyatt is renowned for.”

The Grand Loft Suites range from 500 to 600 square feet and are affixed with all the plush amenities Grand Hyatt New York guests have come to expect including a contemporary design and stunning city views of Midtown Manhattan, combined with a comfortable sleeping zone and a large, open living area. In keeping with the loft-style concept, the sofa has been converted into a sleeper equipped with a Hyatt Plush Queen mattress, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep.

Guests will enjoy a host of amenities including a large workspace with a roomy desk and ergonomic chair as well as enhanced touch panel lighting, complimentary Wi-Fi/internet access, integrated entertainment options and June Jacobs bath products.

Grand Hyatt New York offers 12 Grand Loft Suites throughout the hotel. The weekend rates start at $219 per night and the weekday rates starting at $319 per night. See additional photos HERE.
