Hyatt Names Manuel Saracho Director of Strategic Accounts
CHICAGO, IL. June 1, 2016 - Hyatt has appointed Manuel Saracho as director of strategic accounts. Saracho, based in Mexico City, is responsible for directing group business originating in Mexico and Latin America, across all group segmentations including corporate, specialty and association markets.
Saracho began his career in 1997, working for Camino Real resort in Cancun as a front desk manager, and was promoted through various roles, leading to a sales manager position at the property. Later, Saracho moved to Melia Hotels as an international sales manager, selling five properties in the Cancun Riviera and Cozumel region. Saracho continued to director of group sales and director of sales positions for resort properties throughout the country, including Paradisus Hotels, Gran Melia Cancun, Secrets and Amber Puerto Vallarta resorts. Most recently, Saracho was director of sales, Latin America region for Preferred Hotels and Resorts, where he directed sales for more than 650 luxury hotels in 85 countries.
