HITEC 2016 Exhibit Space Sold Out

AUSTIN, TX. - April 25, 2016 - Exhibit space for the 2016 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), a service of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), is sold out. A waiting list is available on a first-come, first-served basis for booth space. HITEC 2016 is June 20-23 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La. USA.

HITEC 2016 is the world's largest hospitality technology exposition and conference with over 379 companies and 869 booths occupying this year's show floor. It offers a unique combination of top-notch hospitality technology education, led by industry peers and experts, and an unparalleled trade show showcasing the latest hospitality technology products and services.

“HITEC 2016 features a larger exhibit space than years before, and we are pleased to sell out again this year,” said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe, CAE. "Our exhibitors are very important to us, and we offer opportunities for companies to participate in the event even after exhibit space is sold out.”

In an effort to accommodate additional companies that are interested in exhibiting at HITEC, HFTP has created a “HITEC Supporter” package which will provide hospitality technology companies with some of the benefits of exhibiting at HITEC. The creation of these packages will also help protect the investment of current exhibitors, by preventing pirating by non-exhibiting vendors.

HITEC 2016 also offers multiple sponsorship and advertising opportunities for exhibitors to increase impressions before and after the show. Visit www.hitec.org to see which opportunities are still available and to download a marketing kit.

Beginning in late May 2016, HITEC 2016 exhibitors will have the opportunity to select space in advance for HITEC 2017. The process takes place prior to arrival in New Orleans to give exhibitors time to review and select space with the assistance of key company personnel. Selection order is based on total points accumulated by exhibiting at HITEC. Last year, more than 80 percent of exhibit space was reserved during this process so exhibitors are encouraged to participate for the best selection.
