Royal Regency Hotel in Yonkers, NY Celebrates Grand Re-Opening Following Renovation and Rebranding

YONKERS, N.Y. November 10, 2015 - The Royal Regency Hotel in Yonkers, NY (165 Tuckahoe Rd.) recently celebrated its Grand Re-Opening on Thursday, October 22, 2015. The celebration unveiled the Hotel's latest renovations and brand transformation. The Royal Regency Hotel broke ground on the major multi-million dollar renovation project in early 2014, transforming the hotel into Westchester's first, and only, boutique hotel. The Royal Regency Hotel is perfect for traveling guests, business meetings and events, holiday parties, weddings, non-profit galas and social parties.

Virserius Studio completely redesigned the Hotel's 88 standard guest rooms, five luxury suites, lobby and reception areas, its Crystal ballroom, and meetings and event spaces to feel fresh and modern. The New York and Paris-based hospitality design firm has successfully repositioned properties for Hyatt, Hilton, and Starwood. They have worked on notable projects such as the MGM City Center in Las Vegas, and are currently working on hospitality projects throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa and Malaysia.

The Royal Regency Hotel's renovations were also complemented by a reimagined brand, including a new logo, website, and marketing materials. Everything now features the rich deep purple colored pantone palette that coincides with the new look and feel of the Hotel itself. The new branding was created by Studio Tano, a New York-based consultancy whose notable projects include Bklyn House in Bushwick and The Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC.
