Hilton Waikoloa Village Unveils Plan for New Distinctive Experience: Hale Ike at Palace Tower

. October 06, 2015

WAIKOLOA, HI. October 6, 2015 - Hilton Waikoloa Village, an oceanfront resort on the Kona Coast of Hawaii, unveiled plans for an elevated experience with the Hale Ike concept at Palace Tower. The transformation started in August, with the unveiling anticipated for mid-December. The Hale Ike "House of Senses" concept will emerge featuring 369 renovated rooms and 26 suites, each with a subtle emphasis on sensual inspirations.

From the moment reservations are made, Hale Ike will engage guests' senses with special digital elements that assist with reservations, including Hilton's new digital concierge, pre-arranging stay details and directly communicating with the Hilton Waikoloa Village service team.

The Hale Ike atrium lobby will greet guests with the soothing sounds of nature, vibrant colors from nature's palate of island flora and fauna, the heady fragrance of local flowers and luminous, torch-lit paths that lead visitors from the atrium to their rooms. A sense of community will permeate the space, with communal tables available for visitors to share a glass of wine and a pizza from Dona & Toni's and talk about their Hawaii Island adventures, or to plan the day ahead over a cup of Kona coffee.

The digital ease of the Hale Ike program will intrigue today's tech-savvy travelers. The day of arrival, a reminder will be sent via text or email to guests who are Hilton HHonors members, outlining details related to the digital check-in process, luggage handling upon arrival and directions to find Palace Tower. Those who opt out of digital extras are still able to check-in the traditional way, at the front desk in the main lobby.

The newly renovated Palace Tower rooms feature luxurious textures, eye-appealing interiors and expansive views of the resort. Additional amenities include"Hale Ike" logo robes; a Coco-Mango fragrance diffuser; and the resort's own Kohala Spa Coco Mango soap, shampoo and conditioner. A note card will speak to the sense of touch that is a direct result of these deluxe products and amenities.

The Hale Ike at Palace Tower concept blends seamlessly with the surrounding tropical foliage of the island, culminating in a modern and luxurious destination for visitors. "With the freshly renovated and forward-thinking design of our Hale Ike at Palace Tower concept, Hilton Waikoloa Village is positioned to meet the technological demands of our discriminating guests while blending the experience with the sensory side of Hawaii," noted Debi Bishop, general manager, Hilton Waikoloa Village.

The award-winning Hilton Waikoloa Village is a 62-acre Pacific playground and alluring destination unto itself.
