Denver Marriott Tech Center to Begin Major Transformation this Fall Including Guest Room Overhaul

Hotel will remain open as it undergoes the refresh to offer guests more meeting space, new luxury Extended Stay Executive Accommodations and a Marriott M Club lounge

DENVER, CO. September 16, 2015 - The Denver Marriott Tech Center will launch a massive property transformation this fall, elevating the hotel to be one of Colorado's top destinations for both leisure and business travelers.

The major renovation scheduled to kick off this fall and be completed by next September will include a complete overhaul of the hotel's lobby, 605 guest rooms and more than 50,000 square feet of meeting space.

The hotel's two towers of guest rooms will undergo a major overhaul to feature contemporary furniture, 49 inch flat screen TVs and refrigerators as well as sleek bathrooms with sliding barn doors, backlit mirrors and tile showers.

Designed by internationally acclaimed Parker-Torres Design Inc., guest rooms, public spaces in the refreshed Denver Marriott Tech Center will welcome guests with a Simply Stunning Transformation featuring modern decor in shades of grays, browns and blues to reflect the natural beauty and rich minerals of Colorado.

Owned by Bethesda, Maryland-based Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. - one of the largest owners of luxury and upper-upscale hotels - the Denver Marriott Tech Center is also creating 36 upscale Extended Stay Executive Studios and 5 Extended Stay Executive Suites that will feature separate living, kitchen and sleeping spaces and 5,000 square feet of additional meeting space configured into four breakout rooms.

Managed by Denver's Sage Hospitality - a leading hotel investment and management company - the Denver Marriott Tech Center will offer travelers the latest in hospitality technology, including Marriott's new in-room entertainment system featuring NetFlix, the latest WiFi technology, mobile check-in and state-of-the-art reader boards.

The renovation will be done in two phases and the hotel will remain open, with extensive plans in place to minimize disruption and continue to offer guests the highest level of service.
