Newly constructed hotel near Longview Mall offers style and affordability to travelers
LONGVIEW, TX. August 4, 2015 - Southwind Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its latest managed property, the Sleep Inn & Suites in Longview, Texas. The project was developed by Hahn Hotels LLC, and opened in July 2015.
The 67-room hotel incorporates the new “Designed to Dream” prototype for increased guest satisfaction. By incorporating warm, neutral environments and soothing colors, guests enjoy a competitively priced, stylish lodging option. Highlights of the all-new hotel property include guestrooms with plush bedding, high-definition televisions and Sleep Inn signature showers. Public spaces include an open floor plan with comfortable spaces for work, relaxation and socializing. The Sleep Inn & Suites Longview is managed by veteran hotel general manager Michael Showers , who comes to the property with over fifteen years of hotel management experience. Showers has previously led properties by Choice Hotels and Marriott International, as well as several independent resorts. Michael most recently served as general manager of a Sleep Inn in the New Orleans market.
Sleep Inn & Suites is located at 615 City Center Way, near the Longview Mall and close to attractions like the Maud Cobb Convention Center, Gregg County Museum, Longview Museum of Fine Arts and Lake O' the Pines.
