LBA Hospitality Names Tim Johnson as Company's First Director of eCommerce

DOTHAN, AL. August 3, 2015 - LBA Hospitality, a full-scale hotel management, development and consult-ing .rm, today announced the creation of its Director of eCommerce position, which will be .lled by Tim Johnson.

As part of its commitment to being a forward-looking company, LBA created the Director of eCom-merce position in response to the multitude of rapidly growing and evolving online platforms used to market inventory and manage reputation in the hospitality industry.

As Director of eCommerce, Johnson is tasked with maximizing the exposure of LBA's properties across all online distribution and communication channels, which ensures increased room revenues, decreased operational costs and optimal returns on investment. According to Johnson, the company's eCommerce priorities are to increase its digital, mobile and social footprints; foster customer loyalty and brand af.ni-ty; and maintain brand and portfolio preference. "Customers can browse and buy any time, any place, which makes having an effective online presence essential for positive growth in today's hotel business," Johnson said.

Johnson, who has more than 12 years of marketing and hospitality expertise, previously serving as Mar-riott International's Manager of Marketing and eCommerce for the Modern Essentials/Extended Stay Brands. He also served in varying media planning and buying roles at Q9 Advertising.
