Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago Appoints Elizabeth Vita-Finzi as Hotel Manager
CHICAGO, IL. July 15, 2015 - Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Vita-Finzi as the property's new Hotel Manager. She joins the team this July after two decades of helming luxury hotels and innovative hospitality companies.
Since 2007, Vita-Finzi has served in key leadership positions with the Mandarin Hotel Group, having most recently served Hotel Manager of the highly acclaimed Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C. since 2011.
Prior to her promotion as Hotel Manager, Vita-Finzi acted as the Director of Human Resources at the Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C. She was recognized nationally and locally with the American Hotel & Lodging Association's 2009 Prism Award for her development of the Colleague Resource Center.
During Vita-Finzi's four-year tenure as the Director of Learning at the Four Seasons Washington D.C. beginning in 2004, she played an instrumental role in repositioning the hotel as the city's only five-star, five-diamond property. She implemented a strategic, multi-level learning and developmental plan that specifically targeted and successfully achieved five-star status for the hotel.
Previously, Vita-Finzi worked with the InterContinental Hotel Group for more than a decade, holding Director of Human Resources positions at the Toronto and Washington D.C. properties. She then tackled the role of Principal and Lead Consultant with Maverick Solutions Inc. - a leadership development organization whose clients were among the hospitality industry's top players - for five years.
Vita-Finzi holds a bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ryerson University's School of Business Administration in Toronto, Canada.
