Hospitality industry leader, Yvonne Lembi-Detert, steps down after 30+ successful years of building and managing boutique hotels

In May 2015, current Chief Operating Officer David Chin took over as President and CEO of Engage Hospitality, as hospitality industry guru Yvonne Lembi-Detert stepped down after 30+ successful years of building and managing boutique hotels to pursue other opportunities. In 1982 (and at the young age of 22), Lembi-Detert opened the first boutique hotel in San Francisco, Hotel Union Square, and today is one of the most respected women in the business.

Prior to being named President and CEO of Engage Hospitality, David was responsible for the day to day operations of Engage Hospitality and its portfolio of hotels. David was the inspiration behind Engage Hospitality and its 3rd party management services and has been instrumental in growing the Company's portfolio since its launch. David began his 20+ years in the hospitality industry in the boutique/lifestyle hotel sector, where he held senior level positions at various hotels.
