Wyndham Hotel Group to Manage New-build 217-room Dolce Conference Hotel Near Cincinnati, Ohio

. May 21, 2015

PARSIPPANY, NJ. - May 21, 2015. Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company, today announced it has entered into an agreement to brand and manage a new-construction hotel and conference center less than 10 miles from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, under its Dolce Hotels and Resorts® flag.

The 217-room hotel is being developed by RBM Development Company LLC in Madisonville, Ohio, and will be operated by Wyndham Hotel Group's management arm. Scheduled to open in 2017, it will become the centerpiece of a $124 million mixed-use development project, known as Madison Center, which is home to the headquarters of Medpace, a global clinical research organization, and will also feature offices, retail space, restaurants and outdoor community spaces.

The agreement marks the first to be signed under the Dolce Hotels and Resorts name since Wyndham Hotel Group acquired the brand in February 2015. The acquisition of the brand, the leading provider and manager of group accommodations in Europe and North America, significantly expanded the Hotel Group's managed portfolio as well as its presence in the group and meetings segment.

"This is an exciting milestone in the growth and evolution of the Dolce Hotels and Resorts portfolio," said Mark Kukulski, president of Wyndham Managed Hotels. "We're committed to expanding the brand's presence in strategic markets to provide innovative product, efficient operations and unparalleled service for groups and meetings customers. We believe that this property, with its sophistication and state-of-the-art facilities, will play an important role in the brand's success and in the local community."

Upon completion, the hotel will feature an eight-story atrium; contemporary, community-centric art collections; modern decor; large guestrooms averaging more than 400 square feet; and 22,000 square feet of function space, including 16 individual meeting areas. Additional features will include a rooftop garden, a restaurant, a bar and lounge, a health club and a sculptural bridge connecting the hotel to surrounding commercial space. Existing structures located at the site will be re-purposed within the development of the property. There are also plans in place to apply for LEED certification.

"The Madison Center project will bring more than 700 permanent jobs and more than 220 construction jobs to Madisonville," said August Troendle, MD, RBM CEO and Medpace CEO and founder. "Moreover, with the arrival of a Dolce hotel in Cincinnati that is at once tenant-, community-, event- and conference-friendly, we are looking forward to being able to engage the city of Cincinnati, the community of Madisonville and the region as a whole."

Currently, the Dolce Hotels and Resorts brand portfolio consists of 24 upper-upscale hotels, resorts, conference centers and day meeting centers and more than 5,500 guestrooms in seven countries throughout Europe and North America. Regularly outperforming competitors in guest and meeting planner satisfaction, properties offer 750,000 square feet of meeting space, host approximately 100,000 events and welcome four million meeting clients each year. Many Dolce Hotels and Resorts properties are certified by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). Properties are distinct in design and feature freshly sourced culinary experiences and inspiring environments that bring people together for events.

Dolce Hotels and Resorts pioneered the Complete Meetings Package (CMP), a concept designed to address all of the elements planners need when arranging meetings. The CMP is now embraced by many hotel companies and is considered the standard by the IACC.
