Benchmark Hospitality Names Richard Cimilluca Director of Sales for Downtown Conference Center, NY

Houston, TX. - May 13, 2015. Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Richard Cimilluca director of sales for the Downtown Conference Center. Tom Murray, Benchmark's conference center manager for the center, located in lower Manhattan, made the announcement.

"It is a pleasure to welcome Rich to the Downtown Conference Center," stated Mr. Murray. "His extensive experience within the New York market will be extremely beneficial as we strengthen the positioning of our state-of-the-art, urban-based conference center and further develop our business."

Rich Cimilluca's appointment represents his return to the Benchmark Hospitality organization. While previously with the company, Mr. Cimilluca served in several leadership positions, including director of sales & marketing in the pre- and post-opening phases of The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Prior to rejoining Benchmark, Mr. Cimilluca was director of sales & marketing for the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Holiday Inn Express, both located in Princeton, New Jersey. He served in the same position for the Doubletree Somerset Hotel & Executive Meeting Center and the Hilton East Brunswick Hotel & Executive Meeting Center.

Mr. Cimilluca is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. He resides in Mercerville, New Jersey.
