WHITE PLAINS, NY. - April 29, 2015. IVI International, Inc., a CBRE company, one of the leading globally integrated Construction Risk Management (CRM) and due diligence firms, has been retained to provide construction risk management services for the construction of the Wilshire Grand Center at 900 Wilshire Boulevard in the Downtown Financial Core District of Los Angeles, California.

IVI was retained to provide construction risk management services including cost control, review of contract drawings and specifications, the review of construction and loan documents, schedules, permits, and approvals. While under construction, IVI will provide payment requisition review and approval services, schedule conformance review, and confirming general compliance of construction with the project documents.

The 2.1 million square-foot, 1,100-foot tall building will be the tallest structure west of the Mississippi upon completion, and one of the most advanced, sustainable and unique buildings in Southern California. The 73-story tower will have 63 occupiable levels plus five under building parking levels. Generally, the 11th through 29th Floors will be constructed as core and shell office space totaling 400,000 square feet, and the 31st through 66th Floors will house a 4-star InterContinental Hotel containing 890 guestrooms. The 70th Floor will be the sky lobby and a tactical approach helicopter pad will be constructed above. The project is targeting a LEED Silver Certification rating upon completion.

The project is being developed by Korean Air and Hanjin International Corporation with Martin Project Management LLC as the development manager, AC Martin Partners, Inc. as the Architect-of-Record, and Turner Construction Corporation as the general contractor. Construction started in July 2013 and is scheduled for completion by the February 2017.

Last fall, IVI International provided consulting services for Chinese insurance company Anbang for their purchase of the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan.
