Starwood Hotels & Resorts Appoints Daniella Tonetto as GM of Sales & Marketing for Two Properties

MACAU. - April 22, 2015. The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central and Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Daniella Tonetto as General Manager of Sales & Marketing. In her new role, Ms. Tonetto will be responsible for driving the overall sales and marketing strategies for both Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central, slated to open in the third quarter of this year.

Ms. Tonetto's more than 20-year career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts is impressive. Most recently, she held a dual role as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and as leader of the Starwood Sales Organization for the Pacific Region overseeing 21 hotels and resorts in Australia, Fiji and New Caledonia. In these roles, Ms. Tonetto played a key role in driving domestic and outbound sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts globally. She also oversaw the opening of five hotels and resorts in 2014 alone - the largest number of new hotels in 10 years for Starwood in the Pacific Region. She also worked with the Acquisition & Development Team in identifying and pursuing future opportunities, including the signing on of a further five hotels and resorts in the region.

Originally from Australia, Ms. Tonetto began her career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at Sheraton Mirage Resort in Port Douglas in 1993 and she has never looked back since. From Sheraton Mirage, she left home to gain invaluable experience in China as Director of Sales at the Great Wall Sheraton, Beijing. After Beijing, she returned to Australia in 2002 to combine the sales teams for all of Starwood's Sydney hotels, creating the first complex for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in the Asia Pacific region.

In 2004, Ms. Tonetto joined The Westin Kuala Lumpur as Director of Sales & Marketing where she established the hotel as a market leader. In 2008, she returned to her native Australia to join Sheraton on The Park, Sydney as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing.
