First Hospitality Group, Inc. Appoints Corporate Food & Beverage Director
Innovative new F&B strategy a top priority for leading hotel management company
ROSEMONT, IL. - April 22, 2015. Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG) announced today that it has hired Justin Harkey as their corporate director of food and beverage. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and CEO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
Harkey comes to FHG with 14 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, serving most recently as the corporate regional operations manager at the Francesca's Restaurant Group, which manages 33 restaurant locations across the country. Throughout his successful career he has curated award-winning wine lists, developed innovative menus and successfully negotiated supply costs.
As corporate director of F&B, Harkey will be responsible for cultivating and an innovative F&B culture across the company's diverse, multi-brand hotel portfolio.
“From rooftop bars to on-site restaurants to catering, F&B operations are a critical component of our business both for revenue generation and guest satisfaction,” said Habeeb. “Justin's passion for food and skill in operations uniquely position him to lead the implementation of our inventive new food and beverage strategy company-wide, working with GMs and brands at our current properties to improve our offerings and also crafting world-class menus and service at our upcoming developments.”
Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in business management and administration from Western Governors University in Utah. He is also a certified Food Service Management Professional (FMP).
