Los Angeles, CA - April 9, 2015 - Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts announces the appointment of Robert Cima as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. Cima will be based in Westlake Village, and will continue to oversee hotels and resorts in Los Angeles, Whistler, Vancouver, Lanai, Buenos Aires, and Bogota.

"Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is a very unique Hotel, and I am excited to be a part of its current growth trajectory," Cima said. The luxury Hotel has recently opened a new food and beverage outlet, The Tasting Room, and is planning to unveil a fast casual lobby coffee bar later this Spring. Plans for additional restaurant and other Hotel-wide renovations are also in the works. "Above all, my job is to ensure our guests experience the exceptional service and quality Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts are known for," Cima states.

Cima began his career with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts shortly after graduating with a degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. His first position was in food and beverage at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, A Four Seasons Hotel. Cima's passion for people and service has driven him to take numerous leadership roles at various properties throughout the world. His international experience ranging from city-center Hotels to remote Resorts poised him for his current senior leadership role as one of only a handful of Regional Vice Presidents in the company.

Most recently Cima served the same role at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, where he was an integral part of the Hotel's success by keeping the Hotel relevant and edgy in the market. Throughout Cima's 32-year tenure with the luxury brand, Cima has led teams at 20 of the company's most acclaimed properties throughout the world including Four Seasons Resort Maui, Four Seasons Hotel New York, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, and Four Seasons Hotel London.

Southern California is a homecoming of sorts for Cima, his wife Amy, and their two children Sandy and Alessia. An avid surfer and road cyclist, Cima will certainly take advantage of the nearby Malibu beaches, rolling hills, and the warm, sunny weather.
