Karen Edwards Joins MityLite Sales Team
Edwards brings MityLite a strong background in restaurant and foodservice channel.
OREM, Utah — March 17, 2015 — MityLite today announced the addition of Karen Edwards as Eastern regional sales manager to the MityLite sales team. Edwards joins as part of MityLite's recent acquisition of the Carroll Chair Company. In this position, Edwards will report to MityLite Director of Restaurant Sales Mike Burrows.
Edwards joined Carroll Chair Company in 2011, where she was credited with growing company sales by more than 80 percent since 2013. She brings more than 20 years of sales experience and strong knowledge of the restaurant / foodservice industry. At MityLite, Edwards will continue this channel representation with a broad range of off-the-shelf and custom-designed restaurant chair and table products. She will continue her base of operation from Boca Raton, Florida.
After starting her sales career with IBM, Edwards transitioned into foodservice. In addition to Carroll Chair Co., she was a national sales manager for Sani-Floor and Multiteria, a division of Lakeside. Edwards is a graduate of the University of Florida.
MityLite acquired Carroll Chair Company on February 9, 2015.
