. December 12, 2014

New Orleans, LA - December 12, 2014 - New Orleans-based hotel owner/operator Expotel Hospitality Services Inc. has announced that it has assumed management of the newly renamed Sheraton Atlanta Airport (formerly the Sheraton Gateway Atlanta Airport) following the sale of the property to Hotel Capital, LLC on October 7th.

Expotel Hospitality took over management duties following the sale transaction. Bill Oliver has been named as the hotel's General Manager; David Gleim will continue as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Danielle Daboval, Expotel Hospitality's Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, said the 395-room property will undergo extensive renovations estimated at nearly $10 million beginning in the first quarter 2015.

"We're thrilled that every aspect of the hotel will be touched by the renovation," Daboval commented, "including guest rooms, public areas and the 23,000-feet of meeting and event space. The bar will be brought out into the lobby area to bring more energy and a place to gather, and the restaurant will have its own entrance at the front of the building with outside seating."

Daboval said the hotel's large event space can accommodate up to 500 guests.

The Sheraton Atlanta Airport is located less than a mile from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Guests can take the hotel's 24-hour complimentary shuttle to the city's MARTA airport terminal, from which they can be in downtown Atlanta in just minutes.

"Expotel Hospitality is very excited to join forces with Hotel Capital, LLC in moving this important property forward," Daboval stated. "This is a premium hotel property near America's busiest airport, and we will do our very best to provide busy travelers with the finest services, amenities and comfortable guest accommodations they expect." www.SheratonAtlantaAirport.com.
