First Hospitality Group, Inc. Announces Grand Opening of HIlton Garden Inn In Louisville Kentucky
November 25, 2014 - The 162-room Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Downtown at 350 W. Chestnut Street officially opened its doors to the public on Friday. The 110,000-square-foot hotel was developed by Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group Inc. (FHG) and Louisville-based City Properties Group, LLC. FHG President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
The seven-story hotel features a 4,000-sqaure-foot premium open-air rooftop restaurant and full service bar known as 8UP and is within walking distance of more than 50 restaurants with cuisine options from all over the world. In addition, guests will have access to a variety of amenities such as a fitness center, valet and covered garage parking, complimentary WiFi, as well as pool access through a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Louisville.
“In our other recent Hilton Garden Inn projects, First Hospitality Group redeveloped historic properties. With this particular project, we had the unique opportunity to inject our vision for the future of upscale yet affordable hotels, elevating the industry standard for hospitality accommodations” said Habeeb.
The Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Downtown's prime location in the Clay Commons District puts it within walking distance of the Palace Theatre, Louisville Medical Center, Kentucky International Convention Center, the Waterfront Park and Louisville Slugger stadium.
