Rosewood Mayakoba Appoints Daniel Scott as Managing Director

Riviera Maya, MEXICO - October 20, 2014 - Rosewood Hotels & Resorts today announced Daniel Scott has assumed the position of Managing Director of Rosewood Mayakoba, effective October 1. With this promotion, Scott will directly oversee the operations for Rosewood Mayakoba, the 130 all-suite luxury resort nestled in Mexico's idyllic Riviera Maya region. Scott brings extensive experience at multiple Rosewood resorts, and most recently served as the Resort Manager of the award-winning Las Ventanas al Paraiso located in Los Cabos.

Scott notes, "I have loved every Rosewood property that I have been fortunate enough to call home and the reason for this is simple, the people. I am humbled to be now leading the special team of Rosewood Mayakoba and look forward to the taking the guest and employee experience to the next level."

For the past ten years, Scott has dedicated his career to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, first joining the company as Assistant Front Office Manager at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel. Immediately demonstrating strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality industry overall, Scott has since aided with the openings of Rosewood Corniche and Rosewood Jumby Bay along with providing management support at the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi and Rosewood CordeValle. Scott has also worked as Rosewood's liaison in Costa Rica, Rooms Division Director at Rosewood Sand Hill and as Sales Manager at Rosewood Crescent Hotel. Scott brings years of knowledge and experience to Rosewood Mayakoba and is tasked with enhancing the resort's unrivaled reputation of excellence.
