Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago Appoints Joshua Eastman as Business Travel Sales Manager

October 15, 2014 - The Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago today announces Joshua Eastman as the new business travel sales manager. In this role, Eastman focuses on achieving hotel revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals within the business transient market and coordinating the execution of business with other departments.

“I have always had a passion for hospitality and I plan to bring that same passion and intense work ethic to the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel,” says Eastman. “All guests should be treated as they would be treated as a guest in my home. I want them to leave the hotel with a better understanding of what we offer.”

Eastman's key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies for achieving sales goals; fostering relationships with new clients and soliciting their business; and maintaining and growing already existing client business. Eastman is also tasked with driving customer satisfaction and providing Yes I Can! genuine hospitality.

Best known for his positive attitude and unstoppable work ethic, Eastman brings to his new role more than 5 years of experience in the hotel industry. Previously, at JHM Hotels as the director of sales, Eastman was often recognized as the top revenue producer and for the highest sales audit score in the region. He also secured over 20 new accounts and business groups for the hotel. During his time at Love Hotel Management Company, Eastman exceeded expectations and helped them reach a market growth of 180 percent. Lastly, in his position at the Holiday Inn in St. Louis, Eastman oversaw an increase in profits, booking over $1 million annually.

Eastman received his associate's degree in meeting and event planning management at the Madison Area Technical College.
