Heritage Hotels Names Douglas Libby GM of 219-room Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe

Santa Fe, New Mexico - October 10, 2014 - Heritage Hotels & Resorts Inc., the largest independently owned hotel chain in New Mexico, has promoted Douglas Libby to general manager of the 219-room, AAA Four Diamond Eldorado Hotel & Spa, located in Santa Fe. Adrian Perez, president of Heritage Hotels & Resorts, made the announcement.

"I am very pleased to announce Doug's promotion," said Mr. Perez. "His leadership skills combined with a strong sales and marketing acumen will serve the hotel well, as will his familiarity with the property and the market. This is a well-deserved promotion and we're thrilled to have him leading the team at Eldorado."

Heritage Hotels & Resorts recently acquired the Eldorado in May 2014, making it the eighth hotel in the company's portfolio of New Mexico properties and their fourth hotel in Santa Fe. Eldorado joins Hotel St. Francis, Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe and the Lodge at Santa Fe, rounding out the company's Santa Fe collection.

Doug was most recently the regional director of sales and marketing for Heritage Hotels & Resorts overseeing five of Heritage's properties in northern New Mexico. Prior to that, Doug was director of sales and marketing for the Eldorado Hotel & Spa for four years. Doug launched his career with Marriott International, and has held similar positions across the country with Hilton Hotels, Westin, Starwood and Interstate Hotels.

Doug received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is a member of the Travel Association of New Mexico, Santa Fe Lodging Association and is currently an active member of the marketing committee for the Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau. Doug resides in Rio Rancho with his wife and son. They are the parents of four children.
