Waterford Group Associates Honored as Stars of the Industry by the Connecticut Lodging Association

Waterford, CT - October 3, 2014) - The Connecticut Lodging Association (CLA) recently recognized three hotel team members from Waterford Hotel Group with "Stars of the Industry" awards during the CLA's 110th Annual Meeting at the Madison Beach Hotel.

The CLA's "Stars of the Industry" Awards are presented annually to lodging employees that demonstrate exemplary professionalism and exceptional service, recognizing their outstanding hospitality achievements.

Two associates and one manager from three properties in the Waterford Hotel Group portfolio were honored as Stars of the Industry, as follows:

Anish Patney, General Manager, Hilton Hartford
Outstanding General Manager of the Year (over 151 rooms)

Janet Copeland, Breakfast Attendant, Residence Inn by Marriott Hartford
Outstanding Food & Beverage Associate of the Year

Roberta Langevin, Laundry Associate, Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa Groton
Outstanding Housekeeping Associate of the Year
