DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - September 30, 2014 - Casa de Campo, the 7,000-acre luxury resort in the Dominican Republic known for the Sporting Life, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tom Perlozzo as Director of Northeast Sales in the U.S. In this new role, Perlozzo will focus on driving golf and other sport sales in the northeast U.S. market from Pa. to Maine in order to increase the resort's group bookings, corporate trips and individual vacations.

“We are very excited to have Mr. Perlozzo join our team as Director of Northeast Sales for Casa de Campo. Considering his notable accomplishments and vast knowledge in the golf, fishing and sport shooting arenas, we are confident Tom will surpass our expectations in the new role,” said Peter Bonell, chief marketing officer for Casa de Campo.

Perlozzo joins the resort team with extensive experience in the niche sports travel business (especially golf), which makes him a perfect fit for Casa de Campo offering the Sporting Life with 90 holes of Pete Dye-designed golf (including the famed Teeth of the Dog) and renown sports clubs including La Terraza Tennis Center, Shooting Club, Polo and Equestrian Club and a Marina and Yacht Club. Most recently, Perlozzo operates as Mid-Atlantic Manager for Sports Illustrated Golf Group, Golf Magazine and GOLF.com, where he has accelerated revenue growth to $3.2 million in three years (one of many accomplishments). Additionally, Perlozzo previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Ocean City Golf Getaway, where he oversaw all administrative work, while planning, budgeting and supervising functions relating to the marketing of seventeen golf courses.

Casa de Campo - a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Great Golf Resorts of the World - is the Caribbean's premier golf destination, with three championship Pete Dye golf courses (including Teeth of the Dog, ranked no. 1 in Latin American and top 50 worldwide by Golf Magazine) and a private country club for a total of 90 holes. The Sporting Life beckons with experiences such as shooting, polo, tennis, fishing, sailing and more. Additional draws range from world famous dining including five-star The Beach Club by Le Cirque, The Casa de Campo Spa, Minitas Beach and an artisan's village, Altos de Chavon, modeled after a XVI century Mediterranean village.
