Doug Denman, President of Worth Hotels, LLC says he is "excited to enter the Cedar Park market with a SpringHill Suites by Marriott. We really like the Cedar Park market and believe there is a need for an upper-moderate all-suites hotel that delivers the space, and the stylish, inspiring design offered by SpringHill Suites, all while delivering local flavor that will make this property unique to Cedar Park."

At SpringHill Suites - Austin/Cedar Park, TX the guest will enjoy a fresh, interesting and stylish hotel with the space they need to relax and make travel more enjoyable.

The hotel will be built to minimize long-term costs and reduce impact on local resources. Installation of solar panels on the roof will generate a portion of the electricity used by the hotel. LED lighting throughout the property, above average insulation values and heating/cooling controls will reduce energy use. Installation of low flow water fixtures and the collection/reuse of grey water for landscape irrigation will reduce gallons of water used to operate the property. A recycling program will reduce the amount of trash sent to landfill. Mr. Denman said, "We will use a combination of some or all of these solutions in order to use fewer resources and reduce long-term cost. Plus most corporate and leisure guests would prefer to stay at a hotel that truly cares about the impact they have on the local community."

The architect for this project will be Bundy, Young, Sims and Potter, Inc. out of Wichita Falls, TX.
