Robert Brandenberg Named as Director of Operations for the US Grant Hotel in San Diego, California
SAN DIEGO, CA - September 18, 2014 - THE US GRANT Hotel, a San Diego icon since 1910, is proud to announce Robert Brandenberg as t -he new director of operations. Brandenberg brings 17 years of international experience in luxury hospitality, eight of which are within Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

In this role, Brandenberg leads the administration of the hotel by directing the team efforts toward guest satisfaction, associate productivity and overall profitability. Brandenberg is also responsible for managing, developing and recommending the budget, marketing plans and objectives.
Prior to joining THE US GRANT Hotel, Brandenberg was the director of food and beverage at St. Regis Hotel Atlanta, supervising the culinary team to oversee and grow all outlets and banqueting while providing effective ongoing training to ensure luxury service standards. Other notable positions where Brandenberg has worked in senior roles include Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, Le Meridien Jakarta in Indonesia, and the Palace Hotel San Francisco. Brandenberg began his hospitality career in his home country of Switzerland in 1997 as a culinary and pastry apprentice at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich.
