Midas Hospitality, LLC Acquires the Hampton Inn - Ft. Lauderdale / Plantation, FL

SAINT LOUIS, MO - September 12, 2014 - An investment group led by Midas Hospitality, LLC has acquired the 128-room Hampton Inn - Ft. Lauderdale / Plantation, FL. St. Louis-based hotel owner, operator and developer, Midas Hospitality, LLC will manage the assets.Opening in 1999, the Hampton Inn is located at 7801 SW 6th Street, Plantation, FL, located near the I-595, I-75 and I-95 highways and just 10-miles from the Ft. Lauderdale airport and Ft. Lauderdale beaches.

Robert Willard, President & Principal, Midas Hospitality, LLC states, “We are excited about the growth of Midas Hospitality into the South Florida area. The addition of the Hampton Inn - Ft. Lauderdale / Plantation, FL to the Midas hotel portfolio further reinforces our aggressive, yet strategic, company growth.” Willard added “Starting 2nd quarter, 2015 the property will undergo a $2.5 million renovation.”

The Hampton Inn - Ft. Lauderdale / Plantation will make the fifth Hilton product within the 20-hotel Midas portfolio. Adding to the portfolio, Midas Hospitality, LLC is building a Hampton Inn - Poplar Bluff, MO opening January, 2015 a Residence Inn by Marriott - Columbus / Dublin, OH opening February, 2015 a Courtyard by Marriott - St. Louis / St. Peters, MO and a Staybridge Suites - St. Louis / Westport Plaza to open 4th quarter, 2015.
