Salamander Hotels & Resorts Appoints Kimberly Harvey as Director of National Accounts, Northeast
MIDDLEBURG, VA - July 24, 2014 - Salamander Hotels & Resorts has expanded its sales division by appointing Kimberly Harvey as its new director of national accounts for the northeast.
An experienced hospitality sales professional based in New York, Harvey joins the Virginia-based luxury hotel company - founded and owned by Sheila C. Johnson - from Caesars Entertainment, where she served as a regional sales manager for 12 hotels, including Caesars Palace in both Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
At Salamander, she is responsible for selling the company's growing portfolio of properties to the northeast market, including the luxurious, 340-acre Salamander Resort & Spa, which opened near Washington, D.C., last summer; and the recently established Grand Golf Resorts of Florida collection, which features Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay, Reunion Resort in Orlando and Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast. The company also recently announced the development of the new equestrian-inspired Tryon Resort in Tryon, NC.
Harvey has also worked as a regional sales manager for Morgans Hotel Group - where she represented the Royalton, Mondrian SoHo, Hudson and Morgans hotels in New York City, and for Doral Arrowwood Resort Conference Center in Rye Brook, NY.
