Swift Hospitality Breaks Ground for 137-room Radisson Schaumburg in Illinois

Freeport, IL - July 9, 2014 - Swift Hospitality Group, Inc. (SHG) based in Freeport, Illinois, broke ground June 30, 2014 for a new Radisson Hotel located in Schaumburg, Illinois. The 137-room hotel will be conveniently located at the southwest quadrant of I-90 and Roselle Road. This addition brings the Swift portfolio of properties owned or managed to 13 locations in three Midwestern states.

The hotel will feature an open floor plan and modern feel to create a relaxing space for guests, including a bar in the lobby, a dining area with an extensive menu, a business center and meeting planning services, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a large indoor pool and whirlpool. The guest rooms will feature classic designs and modern lines, and include large flat screen TVs, spacious work desks, upgraded bathroom amenities, and other room features that will ensure a comfortable, restful stay.
