Kimpton's The Brice Hotel in Savannah, Georgia Names Kate Brown as DoSM

SAVANNAH, GA - April 10, 2014 - Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants' soon-to-open The Brice hotel just got richer in talent with the addition of four new sales leaders. Heading up the department, Kate Brown , director of sales and marketing, brings more than 21 years of hospitality experience to this role and will oversee the sales department, including: Kelly Young , group sales manager; Marie Dalis , leisure sales manager; and Kelly Russo , revenue manager.

Kate Brown has been with Kimpton for five years and was previously the senior sales manager at Kimpton's The Sky Hotel in Aspen, Colo. Having served in a variety of roles such as wedding planner, convention services manager and revenue manager, Brown brings a wealth of hospitality experience to the director of sales and marketing position. Throughout her career, she has helped to open 19 hotels, which will add great depth to The Brice's opening in May 2014. In her new role, Brown is responsible for the sales and marketing of the hotels, as well as helping to build awareness around the Kimpton brand in Savannah and throughout the Southeast. Brown graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in restaurant and resort management.

Kelly Young, group sales manager, is no stranger to Kimpton and was formerly in group sales at Kimpton's The Sky Hotel in Aspen. In her new role at The Brice, Young is in charge of corporate and association group sales. Marie Dalis, leisure sales manager, has worked in the Savannah hospitality market for more than 10 years. Most recently, she was with the Kessler Collection in Savannah as the business transient and Southeast group sales manager. She has also worked in sales and operations at Marriott International and McKibbon Hotel Management. At The Brice, Dalis will focus on corporate incentive and group trips. Finally, Kelly Russo, revenue manager, has been with Kimpton for five years, holding a variety of positions throughout the Washington, D.C., area. She has degrees in finance and management from Georgetown University. At The Brice, she will oversee revenue management and forecasting.
