Riu Dolce Vita Hotel to Open This Summer in Bulgaria

This hotel will be the fifth RIU resort in the country and the first to be located in the famous tourist zone of Golden Sands.

April 12, 2011 - RIU Hotels & Resorts will open this summer 2011 the Riu Dolce Vita hotel, an elegant resort situated 20 kilometres from Varna, the third largest city in Bulgaria. This hotel will be the fifth RIU resort in the country and the first to be located in the famous tourist zone of Golden Sands.

The 4 star All-inclusive hotel will feature 290 rooms which will be divided between suites and family rooms, some with ocean view. The hotel will also offer wireless internet in the lobby, a fresh water pool, entertainment for children and adults and shows in the evenings.

Guests will enjoy the culinary variety offered by the hotel through its two restaurants. The main restaurant offers a buffet with international cuisine, wholegrain products, live cooking and a variety of desserts; and the speciality restaurant in which, with prior reservation, guests can taste the delicious Bulgarian food. The hotel also offers various bars with an extensive menu of domestic and international cocktails.

The new Riu Dolce Vita hotel will offer a sports field with tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, motorised water sports, gym, sun terrace, a spa with jacuzzi and sauna, water activities such as water polo and aqua aerobics and a RiuLand for the children.

Golden Sands is considered one of the pearls of the Bulgarian coast of the Black Sea. It is famous for its purest sand beaches and its abundant mineral water springs. The construction of hotels in Golden Sands began in 1957 and in two decades it turned into a modern tourist destination with over 100 hotels, numerous restaurants, casinos, bars, mini golf and many more attractions.
