March 2, 2011 - Full House Resorts (NYSE Amex US: FLL) announced today that the FireKeepers Development Authority has decided to construct a 240-room resort-style hotel on the FireKeepers Casino site. The project is in its final design stage, is expected to break ground in spring of 2011 and is anticipated to open in late summer of 2012.

“Providing the best-in-class facility and service to our patrons has always been the Tribe's and our first priority,” said Andre M. Hilliou, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Full House. “The addition of this resort-style hotel will further enhance the first-class experience that our customers have come to expect from us and improve our ability to market to a broader base of customers. We congratulate the Huron Tribe and its leadership on this important step forward in further developing the FireKeepers Casino and soon-to-be Hotel.”

The hotel will be built on the 78 acres of tribal land currently held in trust by the federal government earmarked for continuing economic development by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi. The hotel will contain approximately 240 luxury rooms, including a mixture of double, Queen and King rooms, a number of suites, a pool and fitness area, full-service restaurant, gift shop and a larger dedicated bingo facility, as well as other amenities. In addition, the planned expansion will contain a 2,000-seat special events facility.
