Gulph Creek to Manage Two Pennsylvania Hotels
60-room Best Western Philadelphia Airport South in Chester and 60-unit Comfort Suites in Lewisburg
Wayne, PA - February 11, 2011 - Gulph Creek Hotels, a leading Mid Atlantic hotel development and management company, today announced that they have signed agreements to manage the 60-room Best Western Philadelphia Airport South at Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania and the under-construction 60-unit Comfort Suites in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The Comfort Suites will open in the late spring of 2011.
The Best Western Philadelphia Airport South at Widener University is part of a mixed-use development which includes retail and student housing located at the entrance to Widener University. Opened in 2008, the Best Western features oversized suites with refrigerators and microwaves and a fitness center. "We are excited to work closely with our friends at Widener University and Chester attractions including Harrah's Casino and the PPL Soccer Stadium (Home of Major Soccer's Philadelphia Union)" says Amy Gancasz, Principal of Gulph Creek Hotels. When completed, the new Comfort Suites will provide visitors to Lewisburg and Bucknell University oversized rooms with separate areas for working, sleeping and relaxing. The Comfort Suites will offer a free hot buffet, high speed Internet access, a full size sofa bed and in-room refrigerator and microwave with an exercise room and swimming pool. The hotel will be the closest hotel to the university and highly visible from Route 15, the central artery through Lewisburg.
