NCL Selected to Liquidate Contents of St. Regis Hotel, Washington, DC

WASHINGTON, DC, September 7, 2006. The St. Regis Washington, one of the Capital's most prestigious hotels, has closed and will undergo a major renovation that will include every area of the hotel, from the guest rooms to the landscaping of the Crystal Terrace garden.

In addition, the St. Regis will add its signature brand spa, Rem`ede. Located two blocks from the White House, the hotel has been visited by every American President since Calvin Coolidge cut the opening ceremonial ribbon in 1926.

NCL's liquidation sale of the 193 guest rooms and suites, located at 16th & K Street NW, will begin Thursday, September 7 at 10:00 am. It will continue daily, Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am-7:00 pm and Sunday, 12:00-5:00 pm. The sale will be open to both the hospitality industry and the general public.
