Expotel Hospitality Services Secures Management Contract for Crowne Plaza Phoenix North

New Orleans, LA - September 27, 2010 - Expotel Hospitality Services L.L.C., an innovative and well known hotel management company, has partnered with Alchemist Hotels & Resorts (AHR), the hospitality arm of Chandigarh-based Alchemist Ltd, their first U.S. hotel venture. The Crowne Plaza Phoenix North, located in the bustling I-17 Corridor. Expotel Hospitality officially takes over this month.

The Crowne Plaza Phoenix North offers 248 guestrooms, 10,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools. A multi million dollar renovation of guestrooms and public space is underway.

AHR specializes in real estate, hotels and resorts, food processing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and aviation, including fine dining restaurants outside of the U.S. This will be Alchemist Hotels & Resorts (AHR) first domestic project into the hotel arena. The company had been looking into the U.S. lodging industry for some time, wanting to add to their already successful business model. President and CEO Ravinder Singh stated “Our new venture has been clearly thought out for the long term growth of our company. Expotel Hospitality is a perfect fit based on their track record as well as their familiarization of the Phoenix/Scottsdale market.”
