Grand Heritage Announces CostaBaja Resort & Spa Opening

August 26, 2010 - CostaBaja Resort & Spa is now taking reservations for the new resort, set to open on November 13. CostaBaja Resort & Spa will be the centerpiece of the 220-acre Costa Baja development and will be the first 5-star resort in La Paz, Mexico. In addition to the new hotel, Costa Baja will also be opening a new Gary Player-designed golf course on November 7. CostaBaja Resort & Spa is just 10 minutes north from downtown La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur. The resort is set on the magnificent Sea of Cortez overlooking a 250-slip double-basin marina and white sand beaches. The 115-room property will bring a 5 start luxury resort experience to La Paz. Rooms will offer a selection of ocean, mountain, golf course and marina views. In-room features include 42-inch flat-screen televisions, glass enclosed showers, and dark mahogany wood finishes to contrast the bright surroundings. 24-hour room service will also be available.

CostaBaja Resort & Spa will also be home to the first spa in La Paz, two signature restaurants, 2 pools, a beach club, and a stunning 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player. The property will also include a 2477 sq foot ballroom for corporate retreats and other group functions. This facility can also be divided into three different spaces for smaller functions.
