Paul Wohlford Chairs Taste of Bay

Taste of THE Beach will take place November 5–8, 2009 when wine enthusiasts to aficionados, gourmets to gourmands, and philanthropists to successful friends will combine talents and passion to create an unparalleled four-day extravaganza along the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast, also referred to as THE Beach.

Paul Wohlford, vice president of sales and marketing for The Resort Collection, will be chairing this year’s event. “We’re excited to be bringing the magic of this wine festival, which also benefits so many worthy causes, back to Bay County,” said Wohlford. “It will certainly be an event to remember!”

This is the second year Bay County has hosted one of thirteen wine events as well as a Winemaker & Shakers dinner at Firefly restaurant for the Taste of THE Beach.

A more intimate event, the Winemaker & Shakers dinner is being held on November 7 at Firefly Restaurant on Panama City Beach. Chef Paul Stellato will prepare a five-course meal, which will be matched with a celebrity vintner’s reserve and older vintage wines at each of these locations to create an unforgettable evening. Tickets for this event are limited.
