Doubletree Opens New Hotel in Suburban Chicago

WOOD DALE, IL, June 13, 2006. Doubletree Hotels proudly announces the opening of the Doubletree Hotel Chicago-Wood Dale/Itasca, representing the seventh Chicagoland area hotel within the brand's portfolio of more than 160 fine properties across North America. Situated along a lush greenbelt and duck pond in the Chancellory Business Park and less than 10 miles from O'Hare International Airport and most of Chicago's western suburbs, the upscale, full-service hotel has completed a $3.5 million renovation to reinvigorate its 161 oversized guest rooms, 3,000 square feet of meeting space, dining and fitness facilities, and much more.

Formerly a Wyndham Garden Hotel(R), the Doubletree Hotel Chicago-Wood Dale/Itasca is owned by CH Realty II/Wood Dale Operating, LLC, operated under a franchise agreement with Doubletree Hotel Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality.

Many thoughtful style and service enhancements have been made throughout the Doubletree Hotel Chicago-Wood Dale/Itasca. Guestrooms have been upgraded with inviting, residential-style furnishings which include 27" televisions; new armoires; and the Sweet Dreams(R) by Doubletree Sleep Experience - which includes a plentiful amount of pillows and a luxurious linen package of a down-filled duvet wrapped in triple sheeting. Guest bathrooms have been redesigned to include upgraded lighting, new vanities with granite counters, updated fixtures and a curved shower rod that allows for 20% more space in the shower. The hotel also features 58 spacious parlor suites with entertaining living room areas and outdoor balconies.

Conveniences for business travelers include complimentary high-speed Internet access, large workspaces, Herman Miller(R) ergonomic seating, and remote, secure in-room printing services available in every guestroom. A 24-hour complimentary business center is available for those last-minute needs. The hotel's indoor and outdoor meeting space is ideal for small- to medium-sized executive retreats and training sessions as well as intimate social gatherings for groups from ten to 125.
