East West Partners to Put Ritz Carlton in North Lake Tahoe
TRUCKEE, CA, March 30, 2006. East West Partners and Crescent Real Estate Equities Co. have signed a letter of agreement with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. for Ritz to operate North Lake Tahoe's first luxury hotel.
According to press reports, the 172-room The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe, will be built as part of the Northstar-at-Tahoe resort development that includes ski-in/ski-out residences.
The $300-million resort project is slated to begin construction this summer, with a projected opening in late 2009.
