Rochester Radisson Completes Renovation and Conversion
ROCHESTER, NY, April 2, 2009 - The Clarion Riverside Hotel, Rochester's largest conference center and hotel, will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 at 2:30pm to announce its conversion to the Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside on April 1, 2009 in conjunction with revealing $6.5 million dollars in renovations. The hotel renovations included revamping 460 guestrooms, 3 ballrooms, meeting rooms and Legends Bar & Grille, Rochester's newest restaurant. The Clarion Riverside Hotel is host to Rochester's top events such as the Jim Kelly Hunter's Hope Foundation, The Annual Candlelight Gala and Rochester's Mental Health Association Skyway Golf Tournament. The renovations and brand conversion will provide guests and the community with an enhanced service that will guarantee a unique experience.

The Clarion Riverside Hotel has enhanced all of its guest rooms by updating its already sophisticated and modern look. The 8,122 square foot Grand Ballroom was renovated with new vinyl and revamped ceilings enhancing the ballroom's ambiance and acoustics. The Grand Ballroom has one of the largest dance floors in Rochester, making it the perfect room for any occasion and accommodates anywhere from 100 to 175 guests.
