Carlson Signs Agreement for Sanya Radisson
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, December 3, 2008. Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific has signed an agreement with China's Sanya Lu Hui Tou Tourism Development Co., to manage a new Radisson Plaza hotel in Sanya, the southernmost city in Hainan.
This latest addition to the Radisson Plaza portfolio, the premium extension of Radisson Hotels & Resorts, supports CHW-AP's development plans to more than double its presence in Asia over the next four years.
Radisson Plaza Hotel Sanya Lu Hui Tou, which is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2011, will be located 1.5 kilometres from Sanya city on the Lu Hui Tou peninsular.
The 240-room property will have direct access to a 700 metre private beach with spectacular views of Sanya Bay, one of the five major bays in the area.
The Radisson Plaza Hotel Sanya Lu Hui Tou will be surrounded by upscale shopping, dining and entertainment outlets and is in close proximity to an 18-hole golf course. The property will also include approximately 60 one, two or three-bedroom villas.
