Embassy Suites LA-Glendale Opens

First newly built Embassy Suites in San Fernando Valley in More than a Decade

DECEMBER 1, 2008. Embassy Suites Hotels today announces the opening of the Embassy Suites Los Angeles-Glendale. Centrally located in Downtown Glendale, the 272-suite hotel is the brand's first in Glendale, sixth in the greater Los Angeles area and the 196th Embassy Suites Hotel in the brand's portfolio.

The opening of the all-suite hotel will provide economic stimulus to Glendale and the surrounding areas by creating 120 jobs at the culmination of the hiring process. The hotel is owned and managed by Arcadia, Calif.-based Kam Sang Company, Inc. and marks their first Embassy Suites Hotel and their first Hilton Family property.

Situated eight miles from Bob Hope Airport in Burbank and within close proximity to major television studios, the Embassy Suites Los Angeles-Glendale offers a strong value proposition for both business travelers and leisure guests who are looking to the see the television stars of Hollywood at a more convenient location.

Kam Sang Company owns full service properties including Marriott and Sheraton, and is anxious to bring the Embassy Suites experience to Glendale and Burbank.

The hotel has a calming aesthetic, boasting a magnificent 12-story atrium and a relaxing waterfall with an impressive 7,000 gallon, granite-boulder and flagstone pond that accommodates up to 50 koi fish and three turtles.

The in-house restaurant, Bistro 800, is conveniently located next to the atrium and features an eclectic menu of fusion foods and a full-service bar, perfect for a night cap.
