WHITE PLAINS, NY, October 31, 2008. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.(R) (NYSE:HOT) and Platinum Hospitality today announced plans to open two hotels in Nashville, Tennessee. Slated to open in late 2010, Aloft Nashville Downtown and Aloft Nashville Airport will both offer 136 spacious, loft-like rooms, tech-savvy touches and a hip, social atmosphere.

The new hotel will also be close to Printer's Alley, the Nashville Convention Center and the 2nd Avenue shopping district.
