Mr. Roger G. Hill

Roger G. Hill is Chief Executive Officer of The Gettys Group, a leading interior design and fulfillment firm he co-founded in 1988. He is a respected hospitality industry veteran whose expertise and influence have helped to place Gettys among the most recognized and published firms in the hospitality design industry.  

Under Mr. Hill's leadership, Gettys has successfully completed more than 500 hotel and resort projects throughout the Americas and the Caribbean. The unique balance of world-class design combined with strategic understanding of the hospitality business consistently earns Gettys rankings among the top 10 design and fulfillment firms in the world. Roger Hill also has led the firm’s continued innovation in the hospitality industry by developing Getty’s proprietary Integrated Solutions™ and Project Central™ systems, and championing Gettys’ leadership role in the Hotel of Tomorrow project.

As a sought-after hospitality industry consultant, Mr. Hill provides strategic guidance to an array of hotel owners, operators, lenders, and developers. He is frequently called upon by hospitality and business industry publications to provide insight into the redevelopment, renovation, and repositioning of hotels and is frequently quoted by national mediums as well.

Mr. Hill is a graduate of the Cornell (N.Y.) University School of Hotel Administration, where he now serves on the Council and is a regular guest lecturer. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences throughout the United States and Europe and has served as an appointed delegate for the White House Conference on Small Business. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Society for Hospitality Consultants. Mr. Hill also serves as a board member of the Lincoln Park Zoo and is past president and trustee with the Auxiliary Board for the Art Institute of Chicago.
